The pocket lint had built up in the connector cavity in just a few months enough to prevent connection. I've been using the dust plugs on my phone for a month and had no recurrence, and the month is most certainly long enough. Well done. The plugs are unobtrusive in use, easy to store in the holders (included) on the charging cord, and hard to damage when dropped. I'd recommend this for phones that live in pockets without hesitation. A great product!! ### ⭐⭐⭐ Works but there are flaws in the Type C cap. *by H***E on Reviewed in the United States on August 13, 2019* The 3.5 headphone jack dust cap is perfect. Fits in and stays snug. And has the sim tool as well. As for the USB Type C dust cap. It doesn't stay in. It lacks the rubber seal that would secure and hold it in. It just randomly falls out. On both my Galaxy S10+ and my OnePlus 7 Pro. I have to give it a three star because I've lost one already at work due to it just falling out. The headphone cap is snug and doesn't move. The rubber seal/O-ring keeps it in. The Aux port cover works great fits nicely, My main complain with the usb-c cover was that it was loose, however after putting some pressure on it I heard a snap. It snapped into place and no longer moves so it works.
