I had pulled the old PTO clutch off and put it back on 2 times before while replacing the Drive belt above the PTO Clutch without any problems. This time it was a bit of an ordeal. I had a time lifting and lining this clutch to the shaft. With the weight of the clutch and my aging weakness, I had to come up with a new plan. I used a strong parachute cord and looped it to make a cradle. I put the looped cord knotted on one end through the deck hole under the lawnmower and out a deck hole on the opposite side leaving enough cord to pull on to lift the clutch up. I placed the clutch in the cradle under the mower with the cord cradling the clutch above the belt wheel pulled on the cord lifted the clutch into place lined it up place the drive shaft and tightened the bolt. Make sure your washer is on above the clutch and the clutch is in the locking dock. This was my experience with a Cub Cadet 50. It is working and I will start and stop the Clutch 10 times, per instructions on the last page, before using it to mow the yard.
