Unfortunately, I have been sorely disappointment on both fronts. I live in SF and things dry here pretty easily but I would not say these towels dry any faster than normal towels. That is fine except that they are advertised as extremely quick drying. Additionally, the towel weight while I know is part of the design does not wrap you in warmth when you are drying off after a shower or bath like a towel should. Finally, despite the supposed “quick drying” functionality, the towels have developed a funky odor after normal everyday use and regular biweekly washing. I have two and take good care of them but still they have a weird odor. Given the price and the poor functionality for a towel, I would not recommend these. I am bummed to have to say it because I was initially very excited about these. ### ⭐ Cheap Version of a Japanese Waffle Towel *by J***L on Reviewed in the United States on January 29, 2020* I should have trusted my instincts and not purchased this product. Onsen only shows four and five star reviews on their site, and scrubs any negative/critical reviews from their Facebook and Instagram posts, even blocking users who offer less than four star feedback. This towel is thin, cheap, and overpriced. For a much better option, get a genuine Japanese waffle towel such as those sold at The Citizenry. Onsen towels look nice in their marketing materials but in fact are super low-quality. Buyer bewared. ### ⭐ Not worth the price *by A***N on Reviewed in the United States on October 28, 2019* The fabric feels luxurious, so I think they must be doing something there, but it fails in the two important areas that matter:1) it doesn't dry you very well.
