The cold plates are only supposed to stay cold for 4-6 hours, but this cooler has kept my merchandise frozen for 10 hours. It was opened and closed A LOT at the long event and I didn’t have any issues with melting merchandise. I have two of these coolers due to the performance if the insulation.The only negative is the handle and wheel configuration. The handle isn’t long enough and it bangs your ankles/calves if you walk in front if it, or you have to walk next to it with an awkward lean. This thing is heavy when loaded, so it’s tough to lift for me. Thankfully I don’t usually move it far, but it’s something to consider. I think a rigid handle and bigger wheels would make this cooler better.
