Anteriorly, it extends from the symphysis pubis to the sternal notch and, posteriorly, from the gluteal apex to superior to the inferior angles of the scapula. It thus supports and controls the spine from the sacrum to the mid-thoracic region. The posterior is vertically adjustable. The length of the shoulder straps is also adjustable, and they may be re-directed to pass under the axillae, if desired. The anterior STEP (Sternal Thoracic Extension Plate) is angularly and vertically adjustable. Detailed fitting instructions, as well as a necessary Allen wrench, are included and are available on the manufacturer’s website.
