You have to read the instructions to set up the SIM card on the watch - but when you get the hang of it and put all the settings in, it does work. And I found it was very accurate at tracking my young son's movements. BUT - and a big BUT - it's 2G only. So when we moved to a country that only has 3G/4G/5G networks, it stopped working. And, I suspect in the not too distant future that will be almost everywhere. So, keep that in mind. Nice product - but limited scope for the future. Oh and... if you're expecting something that competes with the likes of the Apple Watch - this doesn't. It's a bit of fun, but in no way a competitor. And it's priced accordingly of course.
