Bought this for home pool after scary situation... peace of mind is now just a quick reach away. I preferred this to a round throwable for cost but also because this could be reached out to the middle of the deep end from the side before needing to dive in; maintains more control in an emergency regardless of relative size of drowner and rescuer. I will buy a fabric cover for it to prolong life outside, but the quality is great as is.
