I got a used copy of the original (see my photo) based on recommendations in these reviews on Amazon - I haven’t read the new version - but wow - I am blown away by this book. Highly recommend for everyone who is doing high pressure type work and wants to think more objectively.I think it is something we need to constantly practice and I try to remind myself about this book regularly - that we need to program our subconscious to move us forward - not hold us back. That the human mind is trying to avoid us facing pain and fear -but we need to program our brain to work towards our goals even when we are sleeping.  Life changing book, one you need to really work on regularly and I still am learning.

I used the original 1960 version of this book in college & it made a huge difference in my life. Since then, my old copy was borrowed & never returned, so I purchased the Kindle edition of this updated edition.You may have to "suspend disbief" initially (asI did!), but if you follow the book & do the exercises, you WILL experience positive results

Dr. Maltz does an excellent job of describing how you can put yourself in the driver seat of your own life.  Read and learn and be prepared to apply what you learn.  If you do, you will truly be amazed at the results.
