On the outside is kind of waxy as well with the plastic clear view so that you can see what’s inside. They function fantastically! I think the diameter of the bread that my daughter-in-law makes is around 8 to 10 inches and it fits fantastic in the bag. So I would say the size is phenomenal for putting baked goods in it. If you are a baker, you need to purchase these. I purchased these for my daughter-in-law so that she could continue to bake bread for me. I will be purchasing these again!

I am a beginner sourdough baker. I’ve been using these bags for less than a year and they work Great! They work for my full size & for my smaller loaves as well. I can even used them for focaccia too. They are extremely versatile. And at first the material might seem a bit flimsy, but they actually really hold their weight. And for my brand, the “rustic” color is perfect! I HIGHLY recommend these to anyone looking for sourdough or anything bread storage related. For the price, you really can’t ask for much more when starting out.
