This decal is appropriately thick with deep, rich colors. Quality is 5 star, no doubt.It does not come with application directions but if you have ever placed any other high quality decals, this is applied in the same manner. **Keep the decal with the backing in-tact, position it exactly where you want it & secure it in position with painter's tape (only on one side of the decal, giving you open access to one of the corners. Grab a corner closest to the painters tape and very slowly peel the backing off, smoothing the decal into position as you go. Once the backing is completely removed, use a rubber edge (such as a soft rubber spatula) to rub over the covering of the decal many times. Slowly peel the top layer off; do not lift the cover up and off, rather peel the layer at an angle ~ smoothing as you go to rub out any bubbles that may have formed. I'm glad I went with the bigger one and not the 2" because it definitely would have been too small. This one was perfect.
