The sleeves fit fine in the headstock, but screw holes had to be drilled on the backside. Not a huge problem though. I otherwise love the look, and the function is smooth. A good value for the money. Review: Perfectly adequate - but be sure to grease them - These are perfectly good tuners. I put them on an Ibanez TMB100 to replace two broken tuners. The holes lined up, not perfectly, but well enough so I didn't need to drill. As far as I can tell the quality appears to be the same as the original. They hold in tune just fine. Note, the gears were bone dry as arrived, so you absolutely MUST grease them or else the teeth will break! I use a tube of white lithium grease. Before putting strings on, add the grease where the sprocket meets the roller and turn the tuners until the grease moves all around the roller. Keep turning until you get a nice smooth action.
