This works just like putting on fingernail polish, so anybody can use it. I'm not sure how long it'll last since touch-up paint is generally not made for high-heat items, but it's on the edge of the stove-top and so far it's working beautifully. Plus, there's plenty left should I need to touch-up again. My stove, which had a big ole chip on the right edge, now looks almost new again. Krylon has a good reputation, but couldn't get the rollerball tip to work. I had a metal edge of a drop in range area 3" X 1/4 " that the paint had chipped off and some small nicks on the range hood. I applied 3 thin coats of paint with a very light sanding with very fine sandpaper in between. The brush work fine on the small nicks of the range top as well. It dried quick and color match was very close.
