The construction is heavy duty. The rack can hold multiple sizes of towels. IT all depends on how you fold them . I am using large bath sheets and they fit fine and look good on the rack. I would give this an overall 5 star except one minor complaint. When the rack is full it is beautiful and functional. When you take a towel or two out, the center support bar is not as pretty and the screw holes are visible.
