Review: Best roof coating I have ever used! - I have used this product a few times. I used it on the roof of my fifth wheel camper and it has lasted for several years and still looks great. Just coated my small camper roof and I'm very happy with the results. I also bought green to seal the edge of my house roof as it has a metal roof and the trim on the from edge was leaking but the liquid rubber sealed it and matched almost exactly. This is pretty expensive but have used other products and they pealed and come off after a few months. This is supposed to last 20+ years. I having had it on anything that long but I have had it on an RV for several years and it is still looks great and no leaks!

Applied four regular coats to a 4' x 8' CDX plywood firewood shed roof, then lightly sanded with 220 grit sandpaper. Applied one additional regular coat over sanded surface. Next applied three more heavy coats with a squeegee and roller to smooth out. This material goes a long way and is much easier to apply than Flex Seal. I did apply one quart of LR general purpose primer as a base coat. Application temperature was right around 55 degrees. Finished roof looks durable - time will tell.

**Q: Can i use this for a fish pond?**
A: I used this for an approx 1200 gallon koi pond. I used 2 gallons and did 3 coats. It's been 4 years and I just now have a leak, but it's due to a crack in my Mortar, not liquid rubbers fault. It worked amazingly for me. I laid it on normal twice, and then somewhat thick using a chip brush each time. Good luck!

**Q: Will this work on a RV rubber foof?**
A: When I applied it to my RV it would pull up if not fully dry. Once dry it seemed to stick fine. They make a primer to improve adhesion but I did not use it. I am pretty satisfied with the product, but to get thin coats is not easy without the proper tools (thin nap roller and squeegee)  If concerned about sticking to your roof, I'd recommend checking out the primer.

**Q: Will your product work to seal the asbestos covering steam heat pipes? Work with high temperatures?**
A: Hi, the product hasn't been tested in this environment.  Wouldn't recommend this application.

**Q: Is this mildew resistant?**
A: Hi, yes the Liquid Rubber Color Waterproof Sealant is mildew resistant.  Liquid Rubber USA has great technical support, application info and videos.

"LR Color Sealant" one gallon purchased. Goes on like paint when using a foam roller. I am only giving this product 4 stars, because this is a first time using this product. Time will tell if it gets another star. We used it on our roof and I must say, it was easy to apply. I had one particularly bad spot where my porch meets the house. This stuff sealed it up tight!
