They seemed like a good idea and were such a great price. Unfortunately, once they were packed and mounted on the racks, the velcro straps failed to keep them very upright. They tended to tilt left or right and it was necessary to try and balance the weight to help them. Possibly a rigid bottom would help and someway to secure the panniers to the sides of the bike rack might help the design. On the first day, one of the bags began to rip at where the pannier was stitched to the inside of the pocket (we used duct tape to stop it from continuing to rip).
