I have had greasy handle due to my girlfriend using a lotion on her hands, and the rubber coating went bad, it was so bad that whoever touched the handle, had the black residue left on their hand from the peeling rubber coating. I’ve been looking to replace the door handle with like to like one, but then I have realised that you have take the door apart to be able to do it, as I am not a technical savvy person I would have to pay a mechanic for it, they have quoted me £60 to do that just for one door.
