I'm blown away by the tailoring and fabric of this shirt. I'm always searching for a few well-cut shirts as go to pieces with jeans or slacks but, now that I'm retired I've no desire to invest a small fortune in them. However, I have a disappointed dozen of JCrew, and other similar brands, with no real flaws but lacking the fit & quality I love. I found this shirt while searching for a gift and was drawn by the broader stripes in, the less common choice of red. Regarding tailoring, it has nearly the same smartly dressed and flattering cut as other, far more expensive, designer brands such as Faconnable. The key fit points for me are that it is roomy without being boxy (almost impossible to find today). It looks sharply tailored with a body-skimming fit that doesn't pull or gap across the bust (a pet peeve of mine), and not only is it longer but the waist hits near my own ( I am a bit longer waisted). For reference, I am a 34DD, 5' 7 1/2", and a solid size 8 sometimes 6. I ordered the M and S, to get familiar with the brands sizing and the M is the clear winner. It fits as if custom made. I include actual measurements of the M as I wish every brand, website, and reviewer would to assist shoppers. They are as follows 42" total bust, 32" sleeve, 43" sweep (the circumference at the bottom) and 27 1/2" length. The fabric is 95% cotton and 5% spandex so substantial without being heavy, and although I have yet to launder it, judging by the hand and drape of it, I anticipate it will retain its quality look through much wear. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ DISTINCT shirts ~ by CAMIXA of Australia *by N***V on Reviewed in the United States on June 9, 2017* Love the shirt but a bit large for me (hooray, something too large, was beginning to wonder :) and the blk and white color a bit stark for GRANDmothers.Surely find CAMIXA linen shirts lovely, I have four linen, pink is favorite, fabric is awesome esp the CAMIXA shirts special care fabric prior to sewing them up and selling. Is fun to have something(s) from Australia. If you do not make time to read about their unique buttons, pls do.They are like sea shells of a sort. I have found this seller micromanages the quality control of their products ~ no "made in China" here.Had to return this one but decided to review anyway. Am pleased this seller crossed my pathway. Heavy, not sheer -- the collar stands nicely. I found the sizing a bit odd, as a size 10 - 12 I ordered an XXL. It didn't matter, except for my oh so fragile ego, since it fit. The stripes are just the right proportion -- I'm looking forward to wearing this to thanksgiving, w/ an Eileen Fisher jacket.
