## Description

desertcart.com: The Original Toy Company Fold & Go Trampoline (TM) : Toys & Games

Review: "Fold and Go" is a Ridiculous Name. UPDATE: We still have this 11 years later. - Seriously. They HAVE TO rename this product. Sure, you technically can fold part of it and take it with you but, first you must unscrew all 6 legs, detach and completely disassemble the handle bar, unfasten, untie and remove the safety cover, find a place to keep all the screws, ties and the allen key so they don't get lost and then, USING TWO PEOPLE, fold the round part and go. Maybe all of that didn't fit on the box so they just edited it down to "fold and go"? Whatever, it's an incredibly misleading name. Assembly was fairly simple (if you watch the video on youtube. The printed instructions leave out a few key steps). It seems to be a quality product. The handle bar is very well padded and it appears to be more stable than any of the square shaped kids trampolines I've seen. Over all, I'm satisfied with the product. The main benefits are that it has a higher weight limit than any other similar product I looked at (150 lbs). It has no springs and no bungee cord, the trampoline surface is the safest and most durable I've seen by far. If you're looking for something easily portable, despite the name, this isn't it. If you're looking for a good quality, indoor use trampoline, this is the one. If they change the name to something that's not misleading, I'd give it 5 stars. Edited to add: We've had this almost a year now. Over the summer, we would bring it outside. It got forgotten out there. A lot. I'm amazed. It survived sun and rain and is back indoors now still in great condition. Further edited to add: Today is November 6, 2025. I was scrolling through past reviews I have written and found this one that I wrote in March of 2014. Y'all this trampoline is STILL in my rec room, and not just because I still can't fold it, because my kids won't part with it. I know I said "if they rename it, I'll give it 5 stars," but I just bumped it up to 5 stars anyway because any product that survives eleven years of near constant use by 2 children deserves it no matter what name it has. The red foam handle did come apart and fall off a few years back, but it survived intact through the years when padding on the handle was a must-have. Only recently has the stitching on the blu canvas part come apart in places, a moderately competent sewer could easily fix it. I haven't bothered, because after 11 years my children have grown too big to jump on it. They do still use it as an extra place to sit and they still love it. And I have visions of them fighting over who gets to take it to college with them in a few years. I don't recall what I paid for it in 2014, but I see it is now selling for $119. BUY IT. I have never gotten this much value for my money out of any other purchase ever. Other than this trampoline and the organs they were born with, I'm not sure there's anything that's still going strong after eleven years of use.
Review: Very sturdy and my son loved it from the very first try! - PROS: I bought this at the recommendation of our 2-year-old's physical therapist to strengthen his leg muscles. She didn't recommend this exact model of course so I spent a lot of time researching and reading dozens of reviews. This one has proven to be excellent. The weight it will hold is up to 150 pounds which is awesome, even though my son only weighs 25 pounds, because I know he will be able to use it for a long time and that he can bounce with a friend. The other ones I looked at had a max of 70 or 80 which told me that this one is stronger and sturdier. It is! Assembly wasn't bad. I had to have my husband there to help in getting the jumping mat folded down as it takes some strength but once that's done, screwing on the handle and putting the legs on is pretty easy. My son really enjoys jumping and it has proven to be great on rainy days when he is desperate to go outside and run around but really can't (we live in the Pacific Northwest so we get LOTS of "liquid sunshine"). CONS: This would have gotten 4 stars if I hadn't read all the comments about it beforehand about not being a "fold and go" trampoline. I went into it knowing that it really wasn't and that part is true. You really do have to work on it to get it somewhere although if you have a roomy trunk or SUV simply taking off the bars and handle would be enough to transport it somewhere. The other con is that if the child likes to swing on the bar they will eventually flip the trampoline over. My son loves to swing on the bar and do pull ups and luckily he is still light enough to not quite bring the back of the trampoline off the floor but a few more pounds and he will. I wouldn't really call this a flaw though because the trampoline is not advertised for kids to swing on the bar so that's just something we have to deal with. We've thought about tying weights to the back legs of the trampoline to hold it down. So, if you are looking for a good, sturdy trampoline for your child this one really is tough to beat!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wonderful Trampoline
*by H***M on January 7, 2013*

I did a lot of research on mini trampolines as I have heard some of them are unsafe and break easy. I decided on this one as a Christmas gift for my 2 year old. My daughter is very high energy and loves to jump around so I knew this was a must have. My husband put it together and it didn't take long at all. I wasn't paying much attention but I didn't hear any swearing so it must have been pretty simple to build. :) My daughter and 5 year old niece LOVE playing on this. They take turns for an hour and are so entertained. The 5 year old jumps really high and does some crazy stunts on it and it hasn't tipped over. The back will lift off the ground a bit but it doesn't tip. I will probably tie a 5 lb weight to the back leg just to make sure we don't have any accidents the bigger they get. My husband and I have also both jumped on it and it's sturdy as can be. A great toy that gives the kids great exercise. It does have a strong metal smell at first but we just put it outside for a couple days and after a week it didn't smell anymore.
