**Q: Can it be fitted to ceiling**
A: The chimney is open at the top and back so the outlet can go through the ceiling. The whole unit will still require fitting to the wall though.

**Q: Can you turn the edge lighting off?**
A: Yes last button on the right, turns off/ on and changes the colour

**Q: is the chimney colour gloss or matt black**
A: Hi, 
This chimney colour is more towards a matte finish.

**Q: can a plug be attached to this or does it need to connect straight to mains?**
A: Legally ... I don't know for sure. Technically the max load is only just over 30W so it would be find being plugged into a standard 13amp mains. Yes you could put a plug in it but the flex is only short (~50cm) so you'd either need a socket/outlet close to where you're installing it or you'll need to extend with additional cable.
