Size Large is incredibly wide and extremely short. I am 6'1, 195lbs and I can wear size large in just about anything. But this brand is very weirdly cut. If I sized down to a Medium I'm afraid it wouldn't be tall enough to cover my belt! The material was ok. Medium thickness cotton. He runs on hot so he doesn't like heavyweight material. This was perfect and 100% cotton. It's a really thin material without being transparent. It's really perfect for summer and hot LA days. It breathes well and dries fast (underarm sweat). This is also fits true to size.After washing it a few times, the shirt has held up well. Even the collar has held it's shape and stiffness. I hate it when you put a shirt through the wash and the collars get all wrinkly and shriveled. We always hang dry it and never put it in the dryer. This ensures that it doesn't shrink and keeps the wrinkles away.
