I am very happy with these boots. I walk through marshy areas with briars and rocky cliffs bird hunting for up to 10 miles a day and I used to not be able to walk at the end of the day I was so sore. Not so now with these boots. The insulation isn't too warm for early season and I am confident they will handle harsh winter wear. I wear a size 11 and got some insulated 400G boots so I won't have to wear extra socks so these were a perfect fit. If I had chosen un-insulated and planned on layering socks for warmth, I would definitely get at least a half size larger.
