The low threshold design of this gate is 50% lower than traditional metal pressure gates, making pass through safer for all. To control the direction that the gate swings, a control knob allows you to decide - swing in one direction when using at the top of stairs or allow the gate to swing both directions when used between rooms. The door motion on this gate is effortless, the spring-loaded gate simply latches behind you. For those times when you want the gate to remain open, swing the door past 90 degrees and the hold-open feature kicks in.
