Review: Great for making gummy bears & jello - I love this alternative to beef or pork gelatin as it does not has a strong odor and it tastes better. Combined with agar-agar powder, it makes great textured gummy fruit snacks. I also used it with coconut cream to make a no bake pie layered with bananas and it came out so delicious.
Review: This product is awesome! - I have to follow an AIP diet due to autoimmune disease and don’t eat beef. I needed gelatin to recreate marshmallow for a camping trip. This stuff worked great! I’m so excited about all of the recipe doors this will open for me. I used it for non grain non dairy waffles last night and it produced another excellent product! No flavor as advertised just excellent gelatin!

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Is it from wild or farm raised fish?**
A: The raw material is 100% kosher Tilapia fish. Farm raised in purified water, non GMO, kosher supervised. These are fully traceable. Marine collagen made from wild-caught fish can be contaminated with heavy metals.

**Q: What is the Bloom range for this gelatin ?**
A: This is a 250 Bloom Gelatin.

**Q: Are the tilapia grown in U.S?e**
A: Thank you for your answer. Subsequent to my question I looked on CustomCollagen website, and indeed they say it is manufactured in China, adding that the process is strictly controlled and monitored. Although I am reluctant to purchase supplements manufactured outside of U.S. and EU, Custom Collagen is to be commended for their factual description, which inspires trust in the product.

**Q: Is the source material from farmed fish, where the purity of the environment can be controlled?**
A: Yes, we use Tilapia that are farm raised in purified water.

*by H*** on December 14, 2015*

what can i say? it's gelatin, but made with fish instead of beef. it works very well, 2 tbs makes a cup of juice into a very solid gelatin, using less makes a less solid gelatin, more like jello-consistency; you can experiment with it and find what works for your purposes. since it's unflavored, it can also be added to sauces to thicken them, which i've done with great results. this jar is 16oz, which will last me a very long time, and i imagine when i finish this jar, i will be purchasing another from the same company.
