I used to pass over them since there were cheaper "1/4 turn" valves out there. But even some that claim "full port" don't have ports as big as these. These are truly full port, the ball is polished stainless and works even after months and years of staying in the same position. The threads are perfectly cut. the handle is better quality than the cheap ones. The shape is better. Professional plumbers carry this quality of valve. I can't find a single thing to complain about, so 5 stars. The last valve you have to mess with.

**Q: Is the handle stainless steel or plain rustable steel**
A: I tested the valve handle and nut with a magnet, and they feel as magnetic as carbon steel.  So they are not 300 series stainless, but may be 400 series stainless.  However, they look galvanized to me.  There are no signs of rust after about a year.  I had used one of these valves previously and the handle outlasted the ball.  I like the way this valve operates.

**Q: is this valve american made?**
A: Not american made, manufactured in China. Very thin casing that will crack if the temperature drops below 33 degrees Fahrenheit.

**Q: I plan to use this valve in a solar water heating return line to replace an existing leaky valve.  Can it handle temperatures of up to 150 degrees?**
A: According to the seller specs, the temperature rating is 180 degrees and I would not hesitate using it for that purpose.

**Q: I'm using this as an outdoor faucet.  What adapter do I need for this to fit the 3/4" threaded pipe that sticks out of my house?**
A: You needed to provide some more information, but I'm not a fan of using an adapter for something like that.  Buy the bib that has the fitting that will fit your pipe.  If the pipe has a 3/4" female, buy this one with a 3/4" male fitting.  If instead the pipe has a 3/4" male end, get the bib with a 3/4" female fitting.  It's really just that easy.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Solid Valve that is Leak Free!

This valve was incredibly easy to install. I removed the leaky old one and replaced it with this one in under 30 minutes. So far the build quality seems to be premium as there are no water leaks. I'm hoping to see a big savings in my monthly bill due to this being leak proof.
