The photo of the ball is to show that the bars are magnetic. However no ball is included in this set and we should be clear about that. **Q: Can you buy replacement piece? We lost one of the center bars.** A: I’m not sure. Maybe call the company. My preschool class would melt if we lost a piece....the love them. **Q: Will the magnets attach to a refrigerator? Or are the animals to heavy/long?** A: The straight magnet that connects the front of the animal to the back will attach to the refrigerator ( only at a 90 degree angle), but the entire animal will not. **Q: What is the round silver ball four of the animals are attached to?** A: There are rods & balls in other sets that make building toys - I don’t think this ball is included in any of the animal sets?
