I have it running in my garage in Florida. I am able to keep the humidity below 50% and the machine has been running flawlessly. I did have an issue with the pump which Alorair product support promptly replaced at no cost. The machine is well designed and replacing internal parts whether it be a pump or motherboard are very straightforward. I have recommended this Dehumidifier to multiple neighbors who have purchased it. I’ve had multiple machines such as Frigidaire Honeywell, and home lab and they last about one year. If you believe the marketing, it is the best Dehumidifier China has to offer. I have a massive garage/mancave. I turned this on and while the humidity is still relatively low, I'm letting this run to check it out. Will report back later. My garage is over 72-feet long, the main runway (for car parking) is 18-foot wide. There is space on the sides that follow the contour of the house above. Fourteen foot ceilings. We'll see if this keeps the humidity in check during a TN summer. The one thing I noted in setting this up, it must use the same firmware as the mode with the Smart App control. As I scrolled through the menu there is a setting for WIFI on/off. But in the on mode, you can't discover its WIFI signal and you can't connect. It's not loud, but it is a steady fan sound. Having a water pump that will pump/push/drain water higher than the level of the Dehumidifier is nice if you need it.
