I used a simple hacksaw I ordered on desertcart, and had it cut and installed in less than 30 minutes. I just wish I would have bought and installed it sooner! I could feel the heat come in during the day from the bottom of my door, and could see mice and roaches crawl through at night. After installing this, it stopped those pesky mice, and felt the temperature difference as well in the room. The aluminum was easy to cut but sturdy enough to hold up to the slight pressure if the rubber gadget on the bottom pressing up and sliding in the floor when opening and closing the door it’s installed on. The rubber gadget is thick enough to create a seal with the floor, but soft enough to slightly bend when the door is opened and closed.
