She has used it many times and finds it highly functional, allowing her to use it for both hot and cold foods. This is durable and dishwasher saved she stored her cold food in it overnight before packing the next morning. Her soup and hot foods stayed hot until lunch time which is exactly what she needed. I purchased the smaller one which is the perfect storage capacity and serving size for her. This thermos is well made, functions as described, it is easy to use and a very good value for the money. Recommend! Review: A year later - I still like this - My daughter has been using this thermo food container once or twice a week during the school year for about a year. And, I still like it! I boil water in my electric kettle to pre-heat the container, then put in hot food in the morning. It's still hot at her lunch time at school. I hand wash it every time she uses it, using a straw cleaner brush to get into the crevices around the twist-on lid. The underside of the lid can show some color staining from tomato sauces but it seems to go away after a few uses. Even when this container gets left in my daughter's bookbag over the weekend, it comes clean and doesn't suffer from residual food smells. The outside of the container looks just like new, even after dozens and dozens of uses. ## Features - Perfectly Portable: Our insulated food jar is best for taking food to go. Easily pack this compact, sweat proof and leak proof food thermo in lunch boxes without having to reheat or refrigerate meals. - Innovative Vacuum Insulation: With our innovative MiraGuard Technology, food stays cold for 10 hours or hot for 5 hours in our highly rated food jar.
