I bought this for my son as it seemed pretty rugged and that it would protect the tablet well. He dropped the tablet and unfortunately flat on the back and although the glass was ok the actual display/cells were not. As the stand is rigid it does not absorb impact at all. It is unfortunate because if the glass was broken it could maybe be usable however it is not usable when the display is broken. Having said that I do actually think it is a good case, for adults with low risk of any impact - definitely not for kids! If it had fallen on a corner I do feel that the tablet would have been fine. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Failed to protect the tablet from damage. *by M***E on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 26 June 2020* Firstly, the flip stand on the back broke off, then when my son dropped the tablet today the case failed to protect it at all - the tablet screen shattered. He's really happy with it. The main body of the case is durable and sturdy. But I'm not keen on the flick-out stand, while it's a great feature and one of the reasons I chose the product, it just seems that the case will do its job for a lot, lot longer than the stand.
