As 34" monitor is wider but not taller than 27" monitors. I am using one of these mounts as a holder of a single 34" monitor above two Apple 27" monitors-- 19" high plus extra 2" stand. It works fairly well with 0.5" space left after tilting the 34" monitor downward to be able to see and use it. **Q: I have the stand-v002, can i take the dual monitor arms from that pole and replace the top monitor bracket on this mount?** A: Yes, the STAND-V002 arms can be used on this stand's pole in place of one of the single mounts.Thank you! **Q: How does your ergonomics/neck feel with the top monitor? I want to have a 24" 1080p 144Hz for my main monitor and a 34" UW on top for media.** A: To be completely honest, I regret buying this. I have to lean my head back very far to look at this. The vesa connectors are short so unless you have an extender, you will be straining your neck to look up often. **Q: Has the pole diameter changed from 2016 to now? Will the monitor clamps from back then work with this new pole?** A: I bought one of these stands in September of 2018. I have no idea when it was manufactured, but the outside diameter of the pole is 1 3/8". Overall the build quality gave me confidence that my monitors would be safe. Setup took far longer than expected for something so simple. The included paper instructions were a bit confusing, and I only realised later that there’s a QR code linking to a video guide, which was far clearer. I’d recommend using the video from the start. Once mounted, there can be a small amount of shake or wobble occasionally, but nothing that feels worrying or unsafe in day-to-day use. I was a little disappointed to find a few minor marks and dents on the pole despite it being brand new. Fortunately, my monitors cover this area so it’s not visible in my setup. Adjusting the monitors vertically up and down is possible but a bit cumbersome once they’re mounted. That said, the included Allen key holder is a thoughtful touch and makes regular adjustments easier if you need to tweak height often. A nice cable tidy holder for the pole is included too. Tilt, swivel and rotation all work very well. I was initially concerned that the -15° tilt spec limit might not be enough for the upper monitor, but in practice it’s been more than sufficient. It is slightly more expensive than some alternatives, but given how secure and well-built it feels, I think it’s good value when you consider what it’s holding. I do wish you could bring one monitor closer or further back (I have bias lights on my bottom monitor so they beam up to the higher monitor which is angled down), this would be great for added customisability of set up.
