This food is extremely small so excellent for the toy breeds. It provides the nutrition these small dog need. All the dogs vet checkups have been good. And even though she is 11 years old she still chases squirrels. What she would ever do with one if she caught it is beyond me, since most are bigger that her. They come running when the bag comes out of the pantry. While we were transitioning to the new food, they would pick out all of the old food and only go for the Wellness. Not sure if that's because of the food, but she just turned 4 years old and has always wanted to jump up but never seemed to have it in her. Maybe she finally figured it out or maybe it was the energy from the new food! In either case, we'll be sticking with this brand.
