It is the same beautiful cream color and texture shown in the product photos. The size I got is correct as well. I love the look of it in my room and it is a very nice blanket to use as a throw. I have been wanting a blanket like this for a while and had planned to make one eventually because I didn’t know they could be bought. When I saw one for less than the price that the yarn would cost me, I wanted it immediately.The blanket is knit in stockinette stitch, knit on one side and purled on the other. This gives you 2 options of chunky texture to add to your room. My preference is to show the smooth knit side, but it is sometimes nice to fold over and see both. The knitting is the correct tightness for the size of the yarn and the ends are flawlessly woven in so as not to be detected. That is not always the case for commercial knits, especially one so chunky. I think it is nicely made.Because of the thick yarn, it is quite a heavy blanket. If you enjoy using a weighted, or heavier blanket, I think you will like it as much as I do.
