This cast cover was purchased for our beach trip due to an child unfortunately breaking his arm a week prior to leaving. The cover was durable and withstood a full week of vacation. He used it all day in the ocean and pools. No water or sand got in. He was not careful either he enjoyed bogey boarding, swimming, and playing in the sand just like he normally would without a cast. It exceeded our expectations and truly saved our trip! I HIGHLY recommend! We had a cheaper less durable one for showers and it would not have held up. I hope this review helps someone on the fence like I was because it is truly an awesome product! ** Two tips I would suggest- Measure the arm and use the size chart.
