This product did both. I didn’t like the original band that the Apple Watch came with. I always had to rest the face of the watch on myself or something and make sure I was selecting the right slot when “locking” it in. With this band I just slip it on and let the magnet do its job. It’s very comfortable on the skin. I got the rainbow band it’s even nicer in person. I plan on getting other colors just to have a selection. At this price it’s do able. It took no more than 3 minutes to put it together.I added a stock photo of my original watch and then photos and video with my new casing and band. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Obsessed! I always wanted the gold stainless steel but I already have a series 4 and don’t need it. With the screen protector alone with other bands; or the Milanese loop band it’s a great change for so little money. This Apple Watch band arrived promptly and I can recommend it highly inasmuch as I’ve had it only a few days. It is lightweight and comfortable to wear and looks great. Any discoloration of the band or face cover will come later, but for now it’s quite a value.UPDATE: After a couple of weeks, I wanted to update my experience with this product. I expected the ‘look’ of the face cover to show signs of damage such as scrape the removes the ‘silver metal’ appearance; but it still looks good. However, the magnet does not really hold the fit on the band. It doesn’t slip off the wrist, but it pretty easily loosens and the watch face spins around and often winds-up on the inside of the wrist and necessities using the other hand to to pull it around to read.
