A: I would avoid adding any connector to these. The bars are plastic and too long. If you add a connector, it will surely break the dumbbell bars fast. However, it’s up to you. A standard 1 inch connector should work.

Ok to use. The plastic locking nuts do loosen during a session but acceptable to adjust before any problems. No other concerns.
