The tablets do not contain sugar or gluten. You can take this product if you are pregnant or breast-feeding. Medicines can affect the unborn baby. Always talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking any medicine during pregnancy. Gaviscon Double Action liquid sachets for heartburn and indigestion. If symptoms are severe or prolonged you should consult a doctor or pharmacist. Always read the label. Ingredients Contains Sodium, Calcium, Methyl (E218) and Propyl (E216) Parahydroxybenzoates. I always have a couple of these in my handbag and they're also really handy to take on holiday instead of a glass bottle (if like me you don't like the chalkiness of the tablets). Obviously a little pricier than buying by the bottle but worth every penny for instant relief!
