They seem quite sturdy and to be made of a kind of plastic that is dense yet flexible (versus brittle). They are a tad small, specifically, the handle is quite slender and a bit short. I bought these for a veterans' event and hope they (mostly men) don't mind the small size. I have bought other brands that came in an unsealed bag inside of the brown shipping box--they had some specs of dirt in them, perhaps from the factory!? NOT THESE... these come in a sealed plastic bag inside a sealed white box that is shipped in an outer brown box. Have found NO dirt, thank goodness.
