If you don't have a fully implemented CAT7 inside plant (end to end cable) from cabinet or switch to device, these will fail / degrade the upload / download speeds. I did manage to test at work on my laptop on fiber internet and dam that is so fast that I wish I can live here. I have a job where I work from home and have to be hardwired in. I also have a wife and kid and when they go to sleep I have to move my laptop downstairs. I keep one end of this in the modem and use it in my bedroom then throw the cable from 2nd floor to first. With all the throwing around it still works good months later. The outer material seems very sturdy which is good if you move ether net around a lot. Well worth it.
