I was able to use the solder and gun to combine a number of wires and use the voltimeter to check live circuits. Everything works well just for two little things; 1) the soldering iron is very flimsy and could have been made a bit sturdy (considering the cost, it's still worth it). Don't forget to turn it off when not in use, as it will burn out. It can't withstand long periods of use. 2) the multimeter is basic so don't expect much. But don't let that fool you, it works just as well as those more expensive ones. Accuracy with the current reader was a bit off but otherwise I like it. It is portable, all in one, must have, even great as a emergency travel kit; For those techs.
