Its ok - Upon opening the product, I noticed that no shaker bottle or mixing container was included. In my experience, similar gel-based hair dyes typically come with one, so I had to improvise and use a small disposable bowl to mix the dye. When dispensing the color, the product initially appeared very red, which made me concerned that the shade would not match the 4C color I purchased. However, once mixed, the color developed into more of a brown tone, so I decided to proceed. One issue I found unpleasant was the scent. The dye has a very earthy smell, and even after drying my hair, the odor remained noticeable. On a positive note, the gray coverage seems effective so far. I’m interested to see how well the color holds up over time before needing another application. It said not to leave it on past the suggested time. I was so reluctant because every other product I use I have to significantly lengthen the time. I was so shocked when I got out and saw every gray covered. I did not follow the instructions about putting all the way through at the end? I pay a stylist a lot of money for that part of my hair so I was scared. I saw another review where someone else has been using this product for 20 years and they only do the roots. Couldn’t be happier. I was so excited I wrote this before my hair dried.
