Review: Works as expected! - Updating this review I still have not had any issues but I will recommend a lifehack. If you find the alenkey and remove the back panel. Under there will be the battery and antenna wire wrapped around in a U shape. I pulled mine out and found the most loose spot where the back panel meets to run it through. I just have my antenna wire flopping around in front or where ever it works best but it is night and day better radio reception. Can also tie to handle for options. So I purched this product about 4 weeks ago. I was replacing a monster rocking roller 2 that I had for 3 years (which I loved) but unfortunatly ended up having a issue where the number 6 button was ghost pressing itself constantly. This new ion pathfinder2 is so far, everything my monster was and more(3years newer). Sound quality: At first I was not thrilled comparatively but after about three days, like any good speaker the speakers broke in and it sounds really good for what it is. I deffinitly noticed a brake in change after some higher volume listening when I look back at how it sounded. Have had multiple people notice the quality and output and mention it. Battery: so far it holds up to expectations. You could deffinitly do 2 days of 10hour hard listening and not even go below half battery or kill it. But I always try to charge it when I can. Volume: louder then my 80watt monster as expected. I always try to stick it in a corner of the shop to emphasize the bass. I like the volume knob control. Bass: when I got my monster I got it because everyone said ion was louder but didnt have the bass which I prefered but that has changed and I would say this ion pathfinder bass is on par with the output and with the monster. Bass boost: comes in handy for the radio. Adds some bump when needed Radio: wish it had a pull out antenna. But does okay for the lack there of. Hey ION use the pull out handle to double as an antenna. Just an idea. Have not used the microphone yet. Aux: works. Lol FM presets: having the 10 available is nice. Lights: work but I dont use much Condition was like new. Purchased as refurbished. Would like to get another one at some point. kind of disappointed I didnt find the ion audio explorer extreme before I bought this because it looks to have much more output with a bigger speaker. Purchased and paid for by me. Not compensated at all for this review. But figured I'd help out a product that I was skeptical about due to the renewed status. But am currently happy with. Also purchased the 3 year warentee with desertcart just incase. Will update if anything changes for the worse.
