Yes, a “gun person” would recognize it for what it is. But he’d have to actually look at it. It wouldn’t register out of the corner of his eye, as happens to me with the black, tan or OD green models that are commonly out there. For the rest, it has all the advantages of its tan older brother that I used to carry: sturdy construction, strong zippers, adequate space for a service pistol, nifty adjustable inner holster that holds my pistol at just the angle I want, adequate number of pockets. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Adequately Sized --- Needs Longer Pull Tabs *by I***T on Reviewed in the United States on February 19, 2018* I wouldn't call this fanny pack "discreet" as it is rather large and has a PVC rubber skull sewn on the front. Also, the item's picture is not what I received. Still, it works and I really like the fact that the belt's buckle connection is adjacent to the pack itself so I don't have to reach behind my back to buckle it.One major design recommendation: the 550 cord attached to the zippers are rather small and somewhat useless to open the front of the pack to gain access to the weapon...really needs longer tabs to grab and open easily if/when a life-threatening situation occurs. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great alternate to a holster. *by M***P on Reviewed in the United States on November 20, 2019* Great bag with quick access of your weapon.
