- Water capacity: 325 mL (1 1/3 cups)
- Do not fill the water tank above the maximum fill line. Damage to the humidifier or therapy device may occur. If the water tank is overfilled, water may leak out of the tank inlet (located on the back of the tank) when installing the tank lid. Use only room temperature distilled water in the tank. Do not put any chemicals or additives into the water. Possible airway irritation or damage to the water tank may result. Remove the tank, empty all water, and replace the empty tank before transporting

**Q: How do I tell if my machine is a 60 or 50 series?**
A: There will be a three-digit number with the letter "P"after it (example 550P). It's on the same label as the serial number. If the second and third number are 50 then it's a 50 series (example 550P). If the second and third number are 60 then it's a 60 series (example 560P).

**Q: My lid won’t come off. I wanted to wash this before use but the lid cannot be opened. Is this a defect or design?**
A: The latch that you press lightly is accessed through the round hole on the top & hangs down into the tank (it is NOT the two clips on the outside back; those function similar to hinges). To replace the lid, attach the lid first with those two tabs at the back, then gently swing down until the lid quietly clicks.

It took us a while to figure this out, and it is very easy to unlatch & latch again. (Things usually ae when you do them right!   ;-)

I've been using the same CPAP machine for a long time. One of the items I have to replace from time to time is the water tank. This one fits the machine and does the job. The price is OK and it is delivered in a timely-enough way. All together, a good buy. With that said, its Achilles Heel is the release to take off the top of the tank. I fill it every night and drain it the next morning, so I take the top off once per day. Being that the release is hard plastic, it gets brittle over time and eventually breaks. I wish there was a different way to work it or it was made of more resilient material. So it goes.
