A: The inside dimension is 15".

**Q: What is the Interior dimension?**
A: The wood used for this planter is 4cms thick so the inside dimensions will be a bit more than 3" less than the outside dimensions. The means the planter will be 12" wide x 12" high and 67" long on the inside

**Q: Dhoes this planter have a base or is the bottom open?**
A: It does have a base that looks just like the sides.

**Q: The specs say that this planter is 15" high but it looks taller in the photo. Is it really only 15" high?**
A: The one I assembled is 14 7/8 inches high.  Quite close to 15 inches.

This is pretreated wood so, you have to make it safe for edible planting. However, it is strong, heavy, solid; after staining it, I am sure that it will stand up the Northern Virginia weather for several years.  I have never seen one this size for the price. The only reason that I did not buy it from Amazon is that I found it cheaper some where else.  ...shhh, don't tell but wally on-line has it. I still almost bought it on Amazon because Amazon is my main place to shop.In short, this is a solid plantar box!

This planter nicely fills a blank spot in front of my house and the size is exactly as expected. The raised bed made it easy to plant and the plants show up much better for improved curb appeal. It looks pretty good even without staining or painting. I think this product is a good value for the money.
