This is the best design I've seen. They don't have flat bottoms which tend to allow slipping. The have lobes and grooves on the ends instead. Once you wedge them against the wheel they don't slide. They get leveraged downward quite well. In addition, the rope which tethers them together has a reflective pattern woven into the fibers. Therefore, if the reflective stickers ever fall off the reflective rope will never fail to provide a measure of safety. Why four stars? My rope had some frayed spots.
