The glue let go from the product itself (stuck to the boat floor well). Didn't last two weeks. Don't buy this product, the seller was less than helpful...It has been a year and the product is in terrible condition. The silver has worn off and needs replacing. DON'T BUY! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Decent so far for the price *by C***T on Reviewed in the United States on July 22, 2020* I picked this up to see how well it would work on the cabin sole of my old sailboat. The boat isn't high class, and not warranting much money thrown at it's feet, so I picked up a roll of this to see what it would look like.The back is VERY sticky. That said, a lot of people mention it doesn't stick well. I imagine a majority of that is due to surface prep. I also used 3M spray adhesive in addition, mainly for the edges just to be on the safe side. It's been down for about a month and a half now, and so far, the corners and edges are still stuck just fine.I laid it out in the sun for an hour or so before installing, with weights on to flatten out, but would definitely recommend longer. The other thing to note is that once the backing is peeled off, you might have a little shrinkage in overall length. I lost about an inch once the backing was off. It might be possible to stretch it while installing after this, but in my case it wasn't needed and I felt like letting it lay naturally would be my best chance at adhesion. So far I'm happy with it, though it would've taken a lot more time to do a good job if I was more concerned about proper fit and full coverage.So far it's holding up well, the first thing people say when they step on is "oh this is foam?" so I take that as a good thing. It does tend to collect little bits of garbage in the grooves but a small vacuum takes care of that simple enough. For as low cost as it is, it definitely seems to cover nicely, and since I didn't need to worry about perfection, it's perfect for me. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Looks great, easy to install! *by T***Y on Reviewed in the United States on July 16, 2020* Right now, Im giving this 4 stars because it looks great and was easy to install. There were some corners that didnt stick very well, so we used some marine adhesive. We also put a bead of deck caulking around all the edges to cover the raw edge. Based on some scuffs that appeared during the reassembling of the boat, I question its durability. But will update if needed.
