Impressive AMG Quality and added visibility through dark windows. *by Z*** on September 12, 2018* WOW! THE FIRST IMPRESSION now when entering a rolling masterpiece. These are what I think of “Mercedes AMG” Quality. I installed these on a Mercedes-AMG GL63. Not only do they look much better than the stock black plastic ones (the cheapest looking afterthought of any vehicle I’ve seen)... I can actually get a visual view though the dark tinted windows. I like to double-check to make sure it’s locked. Another factor I was curious about was height. These match the same height in either the up or the locked position on this vehicle as the factory ones. They are very slightly smaller in diameter. This is important to me because sometimes I like to rest my arm on the top of the door panel and when LOCKED, I don’t feel it. It’s visible but nice and smooth. Not obtrusive. I put the OEM ones in the nice packaging that these came on for safe keeping but I cannot think of any reason I’d switch back to the generic looking plastic ones.
