My old Garmin only lasts around 10+ hours, really drove me mad when it blacks out during the ride. I don’t know Shanren until one day I came across a post on Cycling weekly about this GPS. So I decided to give a shot. I had it fully charged for only one time, then had several long test rides. Finally, I am quite impressed with the result - 1770km totally, and 96.6- hour as I have counted manually! This is amazing.Plus, I like its headlight and warning light design. Although the headlight is not that bright as what I have imagined, it’s fairly enough if used on casual rides at night and simply just very convenient - without having to bring together with another lamp.I also bought an ECG heart rate monitor from Shanren, works great with Discovery Pro, and I really like the additional ECG output on Shanren App! Shanren states that this is IP65... Which is more than able to handle rain... Especially what little rain we get in SoCal, but after about five minutes, the screen fogged up so much I couldn't read it anymore. Not only that, the Bluetooth connection died and I couldn't pull my rides out of it. The last straw was that it refused to turn on the next day after I left it on my table in the hopes it would dry out...The kicker for me is that when I reached out to Shanren, they claim, and I quote "Di-Pro is IP65 waterproof, it should not be used under heavy rain in long time.."Are you kidding me? If it was waterproof, I would not get any fogging. Also, IP65 is dust-proof and able to withstand a "low power jet of water sprayed at it from any angle with limited ingress"...rain is not a jet of water...If you don't plan to ride in the rain or in humid weather, it is a decent computer with an incredible battery life... But if you want to ride in humidity or light rain...
