I bought the 32' strand and it was enough to do my Silverado and 2018 Honda Accord. All you need is a measuring tape, a pair of diagonal pliers, and a rubber hammer to install. Usual garage tools. Parked in a two car garage it gets tight when opening your door beside my Truck. I now have purchased a second set for my white Truck.Installation was straight forward if you remember just a few things.1. Tools: Rubber Hammer, Electrical Side Cutters, Needle Noise Pliers, Duct Tape and a small tube of Clear Calk.2. You must remove the first and last metal tab with needle noise pliers. This metal tab will rust in time its Not STAINLESS STEEL. I used a clear calk, Big Stretch to seal the ends. Hold them in place with the tape until calk sets up, 24 to 36 hours should do the trick.3. DO NOT use Pliers to squeeze the Door Guard as it will deform the looks of a smooth finish also you may scratch the cars clear coat. I found a Rubber Hammer works best to seat the Door Guard without having to apply to much pressure.
