Review: Good texture and mid tones - I’ve always loved this paper, I’ve used it for years and the quality is consistent, it has a good tooth for grabbing color and is strong enough to allow building up of color and shadow. Graphite, colored pencil, and pastel, not suitable for pen and ink.

I’ve always loved this paper, I’ve used it for years and the quality is consistent, it has a good tooth for grabbing color and is strong enough to allow building up of color and shadow. Graphite, colored pencil, and pastel, not suitable for pen and ink.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Not my favorite for blending oil pastels

I’m using oil pastels on the less toothier side to achieve smoother blending but even still its very difficult to blend unless I apply a ton of layers (which isn’t great). I apply it and the paper just grabs onto it for dear life. I suppose it’s just not the right kind of paper I require for what I want to achieve. I’m making it work though.
